Berlin is one of Europe's street art capitals: the East Side Gallery, the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall, is covered with murals painted in 1990. Urban Nation, a museum dedicated to urban contemporary art, opened in Schöneberg in 2017. Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain are known for their many walls and project spaces.
